Function Room (The Blundell Room)

The Barbacoa offers a spacious air-conditioned function room that can cater for small business meetings up to celebration parties with 200 people.

The Blundell Room is regularly used for cabaret nights, salsa dancing and quiz nights, but is available to use for weddings, Christenings, birthdays, funerals and much, much more.

• Function Room for up to 200 persons with dance floor and state-of-the-art sound and light systems
• Fully Air-conditioned and fitted with smoke filtration
• Modern decor with quality furnishings
• Full catering for your function, from a buffet to a Black Tie Dinner

Terms and Conditions
• All bookings MUST be on one of our buffet or dinner packages.
• We do not Hire the Blundell Room on it's own! All functions must include our own catering. You may be surprised of the cost we can offer.
• We do not allow your own food or drink and there are no "corkage" facilities.
• We DO NOT cater for 18th Birthday Parties or any event where the majority of persons will be under 18!

Conferences, Meetings and Corporate Hospitality
We can cater for most conferences, meetings, presentations and corporate hospitality in our Blundell Room. Our facilities briefly comprise:

• Up to 150 persons for meetings
• Fully installed AdLib Audio sound system with radio microphone
• Fully installed 10ft projector screen and projector
• Fully air-conditioned
• Room benefits from natural daylight and windows have blinds
• Fully adjustable lighting, no florescent lighting which causes headaches
• Optional Wireless internet access available
• Car park at rear with disabled spaces
• Bar available in room if required
• Full range of catering available from snacks, buffets and full meals
• Quality seating and furniture
• Chair lift for disabled customers

After Funeral Arrangements
We have catered for many funerals and have over 31 years experience.

• We open especially to suit the times of your funeral service
• We can offer a wide range of buffets or if you prefer, a sit down meal
• We can cater for up to 150 persons in our Blundell Room or in our downstairs bar (minimum 30 persons)
• A bar is provided as is tea and coffee
• All funeral buffets include tea and coffee as standard
